Bloodshot Review (2020)

Do you know if Vin Diesel is one of the actors who joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) ? For those of you who just know, don't be surprised if you have never found his figure at the MCU. The thing is, he played Groot in various MCU films, especially the Guardians of the Galaxy series.

Getting one of the MCU characters turned out to not make Diesel stop to get a character from another comic universe. After Marvel, Diesel returned to the big screen by playing a character who came from the Valiant Comics universe. Diesel is now transformed into a superhero named Bloodshot.
The film, directed by David SF Wilson, tells the story of a soldier named Ray Garrison who was killed along with his wife. Apparently, a group of scientists resurrected Ray using nanorobot technology. In addition to awakening, the technology also makes Ray like a living weapon with superpowers.

The plot contains less surprising surprises

As the first live action film Bloodshot, the director, David SF Wilson, has a big task to introduce this superhero to the audience. Moreover, the name Valiant Comics outside the United States is not as popular as Marvel or DC. Even more surprising, Bloodshot is Wilson's debut film as a feature film director.

Initially, the Bloodshot production team targeted Jared Leto as the main actor. But in March 2018, Sony Pictures finally announced that Diesel would finally get this role. Although finally getting the main role in the film superhero, Diesel's action in Bloodshot looks not much different from the actions in the previous film.

Dominic Toretto's character seems too attached to Diesel. In this film, Diesel looks like Dominic who has super powers. Even in this supposedly promising film project, Diesel did not succeed in proving that he could escape from Dominic's image that had been attached to him for too long.

Villain that lacks motivation

As mentioned in the previous point, Bloodshot shows a big surprise in the middle of the film. At the beginning of the film, you are made to believe if certain characters become villain in this film. But in the middle of the film, it was finally revealed that the main villain in this film was a different person.
Villain actually in this film manipulates Bloodshot to do what he wants, including killing people who defected from him. However, the story in the film does not explain what is the reason the target person defected from the villain. As if, the villain only wanted to kill them because the hurt had been left behind.

Not only seems to lack motivation, the villain also looks less threatening to the superhero. In fact, many superhero films that successfully show villain without super strength and small body but looks very threatening and terrible. Ironically, the side villain looks even more violent than the main villain.

There Are Some Visual Effects That Look Less Neat

Presenting superheroes who rely on nanorobot technology as its strength, Bloodshot is sure to display a variety of visual effects throughout the film. The visual effects shown in this film are actually quite good. Unfortunately, the quality of the visual effects does not look consistent at the end of the film.

The final battle took place in a skyscraper. The choice of setting is fairly precise because it builds a tense feel in the final battle scenes. But in this scene, you can clearly see the visual effects that look less than the maximum. Bloodshot and the characters he faces in this scene several times look like animated characters.

La Rinite non Allergica (NAR), è una forma di rinite che comprende un eterogeneo gruppo di patologie, alcune delle quali con causa conosciuta ed altre con causa sconosciuta, i cui sintomi sono simili a quelli di una rinite allergica.

Per una classificazione dettagliata delle riniti si può fare riferimento alle linee guida ARIA. ARIA è un'iniziativa sostenuta dall'Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità attraverso un documento scientifico pubblicato alla fine del 2001 che ha l'obiettivo di ottimizzare la diagnosi e il trattamento della rinite.

Terapia

Le NARES, come tutte le riniti cellulari, possono essere trattate con terapia corticosteroidea, sia locale che sistemica, o con altri farmaci impiegati nelle riniti allergiche, ma in associazione ad essi dovrebbero sempre essere effettuati frequenti lavaggi nasali per rimuovere le secrezioni. Recenti studi hanno dimostrato l'utilità delle nebulizzazioni nasali con sodio ialuronato (acido ialuronico) 9 mg APM – ad alto peso molecolare, effettuate con innovativi device in grado di erogare particelle di dimensione compresa tra 10 a 20 micron, ideali per la terapia delle vie aeree superiori. Eziologia

Le forme vasomotorie non allergiche sono anche dette “cellulari”, perché causate dalla presenza nella mucosa nasale di cellule che normalmente si trovano nel sangue, e che provocano sintomi simili a quelli di una rinite allergica. Si hanno così la NARNE (rinite non allergica con neutrofilia), la NARES (rinite non allergica con eosinofilia), la NARMA (rinite non allergica con mastociti) ed infine la NARESMA (rinite non allergica con eosinofilia e mastociti), quest'ultima recentemente scoperta da un gruppo di ricercatori italiani.

Una caratteristica fondamentale delle forme cellulari è la mancanza di evidenza di allergia, in seguito a test specifici. La causa delle riniti cellulari non è ancora chiara, ma visto che i pazienti con tali rinopatie frequentemente sviluppano poliposi nasale e asma, è stato ipotizzato che possano essere una forma di espressione precoce della Sindrome ASA (poliposi nasale, asma bronchiale, intolleranza all'aspirina).

Sintomatologia

Le riniti cellulari Rinite non Allergica sono solitamente caratterizzate da una intensa sintomatologia (ostruzione nasale, prurito, starnutazione, bruciore delle mucose nasali, rinorrea, riduzione dell'olfatto), tanto da essere frequentemente confuse con le riniti allergiche. Presentano anche una reattività aspecifica che si manifesta con la comparsa dei sintomi in presenza di alcuni stimoli esterni (sbalzi di temperatura, profumi intensi, fumo, ecc.). L'unico approccio diagnostico efficace per le NARES, NARMA e NARESMA consiste nell'esame citologico della mucosa nasale: test rapido, semplice e indolore.

La poliposi nasale è così definita perché deriva dalla forma delle escrescenze che colpiscono la mucosa e i seni paranasali. Queste formazioni ricordano la vera e propria forma di un polipo. La poliposi nasale è una malattia cronica recidivante; nella maggior parte dei casi si tratta di tumori benigni. La poliposi nasale sembra comparire in occasione di patologie che insistono sulla mucosa quali sinusiti allergie riniti o asma. Si associa spesso anche ad altre malattie che impediscono la corretta respirazione nasale come l’ ipertrofia dei turbinati o la deviazione del setto. Tuttavia non esiste una risposta univoca che ci spiega formazione della patologia; sembra infatti che anche la predisposizione genetica sia un altro fattore incisivo.

Se richiesto dalla specialista bisognerà anche eseguire test radiologici ed endoscopici per evidenziare malfunzionamenti gravi dovuti alla formazione poliposa. Poiché la formazione dei polipi è anche legata alla fibrosi cistica è consigliabile far eseguire il test ai bambini che presentano formazioni conclamate di polipi.

Bisogna poi fare molta attenzione ed escludere la poliposi nasale se in realtà i sintomi derivano in realtà da sinusite, allergia da fungo, neoplasie di natura non benigna.
